Catherine
Eve Trotman established INSIDE Hong Kong in 1996,
whilst the Delhi office was opened in 2003. The
Company is fully owned and managed by Catherine who is based in Delhi,
with her team of professionals. The Delhi office
is dedicated to Product Development and Sourcing,
Order Processing, IT and Accounting.

Process
We have a simple
procedure aimed at managing your expectations
and streamlining every part of the process from
interpretation of briefs, product offers, sampling,
production and shipping. At the outset of a relationship
with any customer we clearly identify the objectives
and then outline a personalised process with specific
stages. INSIDE then gives you, the Customer, status
reports, in accordance with the agreed schedule.
Deepak Surie, Managing Director
Formerly VP, Li & Fung from 1993 to Dec 2007. Deepak joined INSIDE Trading as Managing Director and brings to the Company his vast experience in handling soft as well as hard lines for major international retailers. Major accounts handled at Li & Fung include - UK - John Lewis, Debenhams, (most importantly, working with the top designers commissioned to do specific collections. Designers including John Rochas, Jasper Conran, Julian MacDonald, Jamie Oliver, Betty Jackson and Jane Packer). The Debenhams account grew from less than USD20,000 over USD 3 million at first cost. NEXT for whom delivery efficiency was 98%, Deepak grew the account to over 9 million USD at first cost, made up of an average of 3,000 purchase orders per year.
USA - The J Peterman Company, Sundance Catalogue, Napastyle (owned by Cornerstone), Southern Living at Home ( Deepak introduced this account to Li & Fung, and it is now one of their biggest in Home) , Smith & Hawken, Illuminations and Restoration Hardware.
Catherine
Eve Trotman, Director
Founder and creative drive behind
the business, Catherine is responsible for Product
Development and Merchandising as well as Marketing,
PR and Brand Development. Catherine began her
career with Zika Ascher, the internationally acclaimed
textile designer and then joined Liberty of London.
She managed Design Selection, a leading Hong Kong
furnishing and accessories company, before starting
INSIDE.
Ruby Loona, Head Business Development
Ruby started her career with Oberoi Hotels and later moved to Bombay Duck Ltd where she set up and managed QC and Merchandising at the Indian office. She brings with her 10 yrs of industry experience.
